These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hardest Sudoku service (the "Service"). By signing in or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a Sudoku practice application operated by an individual developer ("Jang Han", "we", "us"). It allows you to sign in with a Google account, play Sudoku puzzles at selected difficulty levels, and view your own results. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising (see Section 4A).
You must be at least 13 years old (or 14 years old where local law sets a higher threshold) to use the Service. By signing in, you represent that you meet this age requirement. The Service is not directed to children below this age.
You sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Google account used to access the Service and for all activity that occurs under that account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that violate these Terms.
When using the Service you agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that we reasonably believe to be in violation of this section. Telemetry collected for abuse detection (see Privacy Policy §3) may be used as evidence in such decisions.
The Service is supported by advertising provided by Google (Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in any mobile-app version). By using the Service you acknowledge that it will display ads, and that Google and its partners may use cookies and device advertising identifiers to serve and measure them, as described in the Privacy Policy (Section 6A). We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for any third-party site or product reached through an ad. We may change, add, or remove advertising at any time.
The Service, including its source code (except portions explicitly released under open-source licenses), its visual design, and the puzzles it serves, is the property of the operator or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service. The operator's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting [email protected]; see the Privacy Policy for what data is removed and what is retained. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if continued operation poses a security, legal, or operational risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought in the courts located in the Republic of Korea, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may assign or transfer these Terms and the operation of the Service, in whole or in part, to another entity — for example, if the Service is transferred to a company. We will announce any change of operator on the Service before it takes effect. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent.
Questions about these Terms should be directed to [email protected].
